The Ugly Hashtag #

Why use #hashtags? I know several people in #business #marketing, that do not like hashtags. Why? Well, simple really, they are not aesthetically appealing.  Hashtags though are a necessary part of #SocialMedia Marketing or #SMM. They give us a way to reach a broader audience, and to quickly search topics on social media.  Think how difficult a task that would be on twitter without hashtags. You can easily find and follow people with similar interests, and they can easily find and follow you.  Although hashtags might not look 'pretty', they are an important part of online marketing. Navigating the world of what is trending now is easier with them.  So give your marketing a boost, embrace the ugly hashtag.
